stick with 12's for sure,

and big horns seem to be the choice round here, itp and gbc also make new nice 8 ply tires

 

I just got some pitbull rockers these things are nasty tires,the lugs are 1 1/8" deep.

 

Big Horns are still on top of the food chain, and stick with 12's

 

Stickwith 12" there alot of choices for that wheel size. The original Bighorn is pretty hard to beat.

 

I have big horns in the stock size and love them!!

12" rims and 25" or 26" ITP Bajacross. I'm running 25's and think they are the teats.

 

I was looking at the bajacross but just figured they would do poorly on a muddy trail. Good looking tire though.

 

an all around good tire is the XTR, i had it on my 700 in 27s, they done good, good for the trail, do very well in the mud and ride good on hard pack. I wouldnt complain about them. You can also get them in 14 inch wheel. Which i like the look of 14s vs `12s but hey everyone has there own opinion on everything.

 

12"ITP T7 bead locks with 25" Big Horns,tires last for ever and work great all around,14" seem to change the gearing a little you lose a little of the bottom end for hill climbing,but you do get ground clearence with the 14"

 

Hey thanks for the input. Sounds like I need to stay with the 12" wheel. Are the big horns as good in the mud and snow as the XTRs?

 

i know my brother had big horn 2.0s and they wasnt too good in the mud, but iam not sure if they are the same as regular big horns. I think the only difference really is the 2.0s are way lighter than the regular big horns. IF I WAS going to buy a tire that was even thinking about any mud whatsoever i wouldnt think about big horns...but hey everybody has their own opinions.

 

i like the 15" but they are to much $, i am going 14" one day
