Take tailgate off,& take apart.Grind the plastic from the old hinges until smooth.
Where the hinge was,Drill 2 holes each.
Now take eyebolts & open wide enough to go over hangers on body.
Better to wrap something like small rubber hose.
Take tailgate & hook all eyebolts on hangers.Raise tailgate & hook in up position.
Now close eyebolts.
You now have a hinge probably better than stock.

Now,I forgot to tell you,When you install the eyebolts.Use bolt,nut & washer on the outside so you can adjust tailgate to somewhere around how it came stock.
Also put biggest washer you can on inside to make it more stronger for plastic on tailgate.Also use lock washer & nut to inside.
