Can someone post a pic of the two relays in the battery box im just checking with mine to m as ke sure all wired are in a,row.

I'm not at all sure what you are saying. The relays are wired in a row?

If the relay contacts were sharing a common power source, they would be daisy chained on one of the contacts on both relays. One of the coil contacts would likely be daisy chained if they are sharing a common ground.

But rather difficult for the fellow doing the photo work! A mess of close up photos of the bottom sides of the rleays? You want to clearly see all of the stripes in the similar colored wires if you want to tell what wire is where, eh?

Be happy with the schematic, it does not get clearer than that!

Ok.lets do it this way under the battery box if your looking at it cdi on left two 4 prong relays on the right the one closest to.the front of the rhino I need to see those 4 wires mine has 3.and I.have a geeling im missing the ground

My Rhino is put up for the winter. If I remember right, all of the relays are lined up side to side and none are closest to the front of the machine. However, there would indeed be one closest to the center of the machine? What are the colors (base color and stripe color) of the wires that you DO have on that particular relay? This information would allow me to pin it down on the wiring diagram.

Do you have a story as to why one wire might have disappeared on a 6 year old machine?

OK, I looked over the schematic looki.ng f.or somethin.g suspicious and found this. The starter relay, which is the BIG one, has one empty space in its connector. To verify that this is the one that you are talking about, look at the wire colors for the 3 wires that it does have. There are also the big battery cables that are bolted onto the body of the relay... and there are 2 fuses attached to that relay.

You do not have to put a wire into the empty hole, the machine works fine without. If you have to have a wire, make it a rainbow colored one :)

its not a matter of making sure everythings got a wire, what had happened was i had baja lights on my rhino and ended up selling them well for the ground of the lights it went lights to frame frame to the relay ive been mentioning, now after the lights are gone my fuel pump magically stops working which jason at brp said hes almost never heard of a fuel pump just not working,so with all that said my new pump will be here monday and i just wanted to make sure everythings correct and that ground i removed wasnt an important ground

So can anyone help or provide.pictures of the two.relays u can text me or I can text u

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what you need. Apparently you hacked on some of the wiring to install your accessory and then took that wiring out? Tell you what; you take the pictures of your relay/relays (since that is so easy to do) and post them so that someone can figure out what you are after.

No.hack jobs here, simple doudble checking ill.post a pic here in.a bit then!!!!!

ok ok now that im off work and can actually look at my rhino its the relay that has a black a green and a yellow wire connected to it has one empty prong is that suspost to be there or am i missing a wire?

#20 ·
With those wire colors, I doubt that it is a stock relay. The stock wiring generally uses wires with a base color and a stripe color, other than Red for un-fused battery power and Black for the grounding through the wire harness. Or did you just glance at the wires to identify the color coding?

Did you put the relay in yourself or did you buy the machine used? Generally speaking, a relay will not function with only 3 of the 4 prongs connected to something. If it has 5 prongs then that is a different story. All the more reason for you to post a picture.

HaHa. I've been off of the Rhino for a while too. My last ride was once during the summer before this past summer. Nothing wrong with the Rhino, it's just me age catching up with me I suppose. I've got a plan though; by next summer I'll be retired and I'll hopefully have nothing better to do!

It sounds like you have her dialed in, going by the speed you mentioned. Mine is still basically stock as far as the engine is concerned. I don't really ride any place that isn't twisty and windy, trails and fire-roads in the Oregon coast range. Trees and deep drop-offs are rather hard on the bones and other body parts, eh?
