This is one AzBdBy put together from that weekend... its the trail riding part. You will get a good perspective how rough it can be.

The Rhinos are AMAZING on the rocky trail and I think do better than Jeeps.

I will be uploading a video tonight as well from the trip. Look for a new link here to the video.

It's in progress! BKozan took over the job with a new, un-familiar Macintosh. Give him some time, and the video will kick ass! Thats if the footage is even good. My camera ate so much dust that day, you can actually watch the video quality diminish throughout the days worth of footage :(

Yea, I ruined a Panasonic MiniDV camera at the dunes on New Years... my next video camera setup will be using a tiny camera that I will be mounting in various locations and it will be plugged into a Sony video camera that is totally sealed.

I just need the $$ to do it. :)

Damn looks real rocky. Any issues with tires or clearance?
I know someone mentioned it did a number on the rims
but that doesn't concern me. It didn't look like any of you
guys had spares. What kind of stuff did you take for the
just in case factor. Plug kit, compressor etc.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks Tim

That trip was the first time I had taken it... I would suggest going as early as you can because you dont want to get caught up in the one way traffic.

I love and spoil my Rhino, and on this trip it got raped by some rocks. So prepare for some abuse, you cant avoid it, even my long travel arms got dinged.

I would also suggest going with someone that has experience on the trail, I honestly feel that helped me out immensely. If you can, bring a spare tire and tools to remove a tire.

Bring cash for the food at the Saloon, the fries are tasty.

Be careful coming back down (esp the last 10 miles), CraziCooter and I were going CRAZY fast... my speedo at times said 57MPH... you could run into traffic head-on and wreck.

Although it was fun doing this coming down that hill

I took Bighorns. :fingersx:

No seriously some guys had spares and I had a compressor and several of us probably had plug kits. Flats are a possibility but we had no issues. There was a spot that one of our group clued us in on before we rounded a corner. It had taken out 2 of his tires. It was a metal bar sticking out of the ground.

When you go up the steep 10' hill climb with the sharp left there is a bar on the right side of the trail around the corner. You'll have a ravine on your left when you make this climb.
