Can I run 26/9/12 or 26/9/14 tires and wheels on all 4 corners on rhino 660 without using spacers ? Would I have to get two extra front wheels or two back wheels to make it work.....also, the rhino when bought had 27-9-14 & 27-11-14 mudlight xtr tires& wheels on it, would it hurt anything running this big of tires on it, I just run on dirt & gravel roads & trails (no jumping, sliding around or big mudholes ) just normal riding. Currently has stock wheels & tires. Thanks!

I run 26x9x12 on all 4 corners I used rear rims all the way around. I run 1" spacers up front and 2" on the rear. The spacers keep the tires on the same track.(width)

So I would have to use spacers to make it track the same, is it more stable this way or factory way?, Also what about 2nd question I mentioned about the previous tires on rhino, the 27" tires, would it be bad to run these on rhino w/o doing any damage to other parts, just normal trail riding / gravel rds is what I do. Also it has the differential support already on there. The factory shocks was on highest setting when they(27"tires) was on there, but now they are back to factory settings with the 25" tires ( worn out) but the 27" has a lot of tread left, that's why wondering if good idea putting an back on.

27” tires will be fine. The xtr mud lite has an slightly aggressive mud pattern tread design that may cause vibration at slow speed the advise given I share the same view point on. 26x9 all the way around with a matching spare. I wouldn’t run out and buy tires just yet if you have the 27” but when you do, rhino ray puts plenty of miles on his machine and his advise is spot on

Black spring stock shocks are weak, the special came out with the silver springs are at least a step up. Yamaha's safety recall put 2" spacers on the rear, 1/2 doors and removed the torstion bar. Like Johnny said run the 27" and start collecting the matching rear rims for the front.

Thanks to all for info, acams the wheels on mine are also itp ,I think the front wheel is 14x7 , not sure on the back the rear tire is 27/11/14 & it does sink in the tire a little so it maybe is 14x7 don't know if they are 5+2 or 2+5 or not , been a good while since they was on there, I know they want be in line with each other since one is 9 & other 11, the rims might be same tho.

I may put the 27" back on & crank the weak shocks back up to 3rd or 4th setting . & find a couple of rear wheels for when I want to go the 26/9/12 route on all four corners or the 26/9/14. Thanks.

What is the negative of running 9" wide on stock front/rear wheels ? I assume it may have something to do with the offset difference ? I'm familiar with backspacing but not sure how to interpret the 2+5 or 5+2. On a 7" wheel would 3.5 = 0 offset ? What are stock wheel widths and offsets for an 2006 660 ?

2+5 means that the backspacing is 2" and the 'frontspacing' for lack of a better term is 5"

Conversely 5+2 means that the backspacing is 5" and frontspacing is 2"

RIght now I am running 5+2 wheels all around with 25x8x12 and 25x10x12 Dirt commanders. If I switch I am going to go to a set of 4+3 wheels and run 26x9x12 tires all around.
