Is it really necessary to upgrade the stator or get an alternator if you are adding a 2nd battery? or will both batteries still charge with the stock stator okay?
I'll probably use the stock battery just for starting and the optima for all accessories. That way I won't have to worry about starting. I already have a surepower battery seperator. Just need the battery and bracket.
