I like my canvas, because I can remove it for nice days.

This is true...you need to take them off for transport. Luckily, I use my Toyhauler most of the time.

I watched a $350 DFR canvas top blow off someones rhino on the highway last weekend. Aluminum with finished underside!

One suggestion if you use alum, insulate it with rubber washers and tape on the bar where it touches. It can sound like the inside of a tin can, especially when it goes in 4WD. I used rubber washers under the metal flat washers on both sides and foam taped the rollbar where the top touched. Now it totally quite. Just a suggestion if you go that way.

Better yet, you can use speaker carpet, and it's a full on insulated headliner. I am not only doing that with the new roof I am currently building, but with mydoors as well. Use something that is weather resistant, and it also give to rhino a feeling like you have full on interior in your rhino for comfort, but really some speaker carpet, a razor blade, and some spray adhesive will do the trick!
