I replaced the stock radiator fan with an upgraded fan and shroud, All Balls 70-1007 Colling fan and shroud . There was a tube that attached to the motor housing of the original fan that went up into the dash but wasn't attached to anything. I couldn't find a connection on the replacement fan for it. Any ideas?

Ok, after watching this video, i think they call it a breather hose at 1:18 in the video. I didnt see a place to connect it on the new fan. I am pretty sure that I will NEVER have it in water any where close to that deep.

You are right, it is a breather hose. Some replacement fans do not have a breather. So it's not needed. Best to remove it as if needed in the future it will be full of gunk.....imho
