Just picked up new 2011 700 SE, has stock tires, Are they 4 ply or 6 ply? Looking at running Big Horns but thinking of wearing out these first if they are 6 ply. Worried if they are 4 ply. How do the stock tires do on rocky trails?

I believe there 4 ply with a 6 ply rating

what kind of rocky trails???

I ran them for quite a while just to wear them out. Even ran them @ a poker run in Parker AZ. 90 miles and we all know how those things turn in to an offroad race from a casual ride (36 to 60 mph in the rocks)

I has beaten my stockers pretty good and they are holding up great! (probably just jinxed myself..) but we have a lot of rocks here sharp loose ones

I'm in Panama and the trails are Pine timber with lots of creeks and rocks. I am about ready to pick it up from dealer and with ya'lls help I 'll just run the stock tires until they are gone then buy the next set. I figured if they were 4 ply and junk then I would have to let the dealer get to me again by selling me his over priced tires.
Appreciate ya'lls help
Saludos desde Panama
