I found my front differential leaking after a little inspection I found holes in the aluminum. After I tore everything apart the only damage inside is one tooth on one spider gear is missing. I am trying to find a used front diff. I have repaired the hole in the aluminum hosing and cleaned all the shavings from inside the diff. My question is can I run this diff with a tooth missing off the spider gear until I can replace it. Everything seems to be ok other than the tooth that is missing. What do you guys think will happen. It is a 08 700 fi

I have cleaned all of the shavings and other metal out and everything seems to turn ok. I think I am going to try it to see what happens
