I'm not really sure what they are made of but it looks like ABS. It looks to be about 1/8 - 1/4 in. thick. They are extremely sturdy if thats what you are concerned about.

They are about a 1/4 inch thick. I have them and all I get is compliments on them. Everyone thinks they have a nice quality look to them, especially once its all installed with speakers.
