There is a sensor on my master cylinder that I can jump and it will start but the brakes do not work. I assume that the sensor is triggered by the lack of pressure in the master cylinder and won't allow the machine to start.

Interesting. Didn't know that. I figured they would have used the brake switch.

When bleeding the brakes, are you starting at the right rear, then left rear, front right, front left? Are you pumping the brakes and holding while opening the bleeder or gravity bleeding?
