This question probably has the most obvious answer..

I was going to check the oil, I leaned over the engine intake while the cover was off and I cover that intake hole while the engine was running and it shut off. I tried to turn it on and it still won't go. Battery's fine, plenty of gas. Only reason it stopped working is because I covered the intake. Answer quickly! I need it to burn a couple fields. Thanks!

Well that was what I wanted to do. I was looking at the dirt at first. Sorry, maybe the post is too vague. So, how long does it take to recover from the flooding..sorry I'm a rookie.

put it in neutral and put the accelerator to the floor with the choke off and turn the engine over.. Sounds to me like you flooded it. If its not flooded too bad it should start with the pedal to the floor and the choke off..

If that dosn't work you need to pull the spark plug and dry it or replace it.. Usually the trick I mentioned above works.. Ive done it many times with carberated motors...
