I have a 05 660 rhino with stock air filter exhuast, a big tire clutch kit, snorkels, cdi and 28s. It just started acting up this weekend on a trail ride. Idles fine and will run fine for a short distance shuts off and fires right back up. I have replaced air and fuel filter, i have cleaned the carb, checked all gas lines and vent tubes and then chaged my fuel pump to an eletric pump and same problem. Any ideas?

Do you still have your stock CDI? Try swapping it out and going for a ride. I have seen many aftermarket CDI take a crap. Is it getting hot?

i Have the same problem, i changed to a electric fuel pump which helped with the vapor locking, i also changed the cdi to the stock one and that reduced the number of times it quit alot. mine almost seems like the key is just shut off while riding. is this the same thing yours seems to do?
