The reverse light on my 07 660 is stuck on. I saw that you could bypass the sensor by grounding out the sensor wire so I tried grounding it to the battery and the reverse light still wouldn’t go off. Right now I can’t get it to run because it isn’t getting spark either. Earlier today I turned it on and the reverse light went off and it fired up and ran good until I turned it off then the light was stuck on again and no spark. I checked the voltage coming from the sensor wire and got about 10.5 volts. I don’t know if it makes any difference but it has a brp cdi. I’ve been messing with this for hours now and I still don’t know for sure what is going on. What should be my next steps? Thanks

Unhook that light or relay that powers it. Sounds like you may have a short. Check your battery for full power with a load check. If battery was know to be good and it is dropping, then check for a parasitic draw.
