Removing the rear driveshaft

Anyone have a step by step for removing the rear shaft? I just rebuilt the front one and now the rear piled up. Pretty well the same? Unbolt the rear diff and everything slides apart? Axles need to come out? I'll be doing the pinion seal while I'm in there so it might be easier to drop the whole thing. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You can do what you are wanting by sliding the diff back ...but...you aren't really "saving" time by doing so . No longer than it takes to unbolt the knuckles and pop the axles out , it isn't worth the aggravation imo . Be sure to not loose the spring , and damper when you pull the driveshaft .
