he needs to service the sheaves...change greaseMy buddies kicks in around 58-59km/h. It's a 2011, it would hit 67 when he first got it, now he's lost a lot of top speed but he burns his belt sometimes, that might shave off speed. His starts hitting the limiter around 50km, i think it's just a speed limiter not rpm.
Right on guys. It's my buddies rhino but I'll pass the info along. What the sheave worth? We'll have to take it apart and service it, it only has 700km on it and it lost 10k in top end within the first 300km, not sure if he burned the hell outta the belt or what. What's the best way to clean a clutch? Any products I should avoid?
I think this is a good question.
Is the limiter that I'm always hitting on the straight aways a speed limiter or a engine RPM limiter?
I don't want to over-rev the engine just to milk a few more MPH out of it. But I'll gladly say goodbye to an arbitrary speed limiter. I have a JBS Hot Rod sheave and get 49MPH out of it before the engine goes, "brap...brap...brap!"
