About ten years ago I gave my son my 06 Rhino 660. Here it is 2022 and it still has original tires on it and surprised they've lasted this long. Rear spacers were installed at the recall. I'm considering Halberd mud or Tusk Terrabite tires. The description says the Halberds are 6 ply and Terrabites are 8 ply but almost twice the price. Price doesn't bother me - safety does as he installed a rear seat for my grand-kids

There isn't much mud where he rides. My questions are...

I like the Terrabites because they have a tough a sidewall - what pressure should he run? 14lbs maybe? Should he run the shocks at the top position? Should I install front spacers? Have any members here run any of these brand tires? Do any of you have any other suggestions as to a good tire for this machine?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My name is Jim and an old four-wheeler from way back. Thanks!

I run the Maxxis Big Horns, typically at 11psi. I've had the tires since 2014 and they still perform and look great - but they are pricey!
