My 660 Rhino is a 2005. Can I install a oil pressure gauge on it, instead of relying on the present idiot light? Thanks for any help.

my buddy just blew up his motor when his inline gauge sender came loose.....the best spot is the top banjo bolt behind the filter by the crankcase vent....I chucked mine in the lathe and cut a pipe thread into the top and ran it off of that....no leaks and no flimsy rubber hose and hose clamp to fail...motor cores are getting very hard to find and its expensive to keep these rhinos alive,so dont take chances is my take on things...

If you don't have a lathe or access to one you can buy the banjo fitting on ebay. You just need to know the thread pitch

if I recall if you space the oem lines away with your spacer they will hit the back of the oil filter boss,If my memories correct? dont hold me too that....Im not in front of a rhino...lol
I'll check it out in the morning. Too damn cold to go to the garage tonight ! Actually we're having a heat wave right now. It's actually 20 degrees. I'm not going to give up if they don't fit. Mine is eventually going to all braided lines but I just wanted to get the oil pressure gauge hooked up. It costs me nothing to play on the milling machine but the only downfall is I can't take the Rhino to work.
