Soooo I changed the coolant in my 2007 rhino 660 and it looked like muddy water so I thought it would help with my issue of overheating. But after letting my bike idle for 10 min and re check the coolant level the rad was still getting hot. Sooo I'm checking different things and I get near the oil coolant lines and I can feel the heat coming off of it and you can't hardly touch it before burning yourself. Is there a way for me to check if the line is clogged or what should I do to fix the problem??

I believe optimum oil temp is somewhere around 185 degF as its best lub point and vaporizes any moisture, etc. That temp would burn you. Anything over 140 degF like your home hot water will give you a reference point. Use a heat gun on it if you have it to check closer to actual inside of guessing. Research the oil thing for some interesting reading.

Yea maybe I'm being paranoid. Went riding the other day and not sure if my fan wasn't kicking on during the beggining of the ride. But a couple hours into riding getting stuck a couple times pulling some people out my rhino starting jumping. It's hard to explain, I was holding the throttle at a constant speed or trying to take off and it was just jumping. And my middle console got so hot I could hardly lay my arm on it.
So I came home drained my coolant (which looked like muddy water) and refilled it. After letting it idle a while I still felt like it was getting hot. I need to hook up a temp gauge and a switch for my fan so I can keep it on when I need.

When draining all the coolant, make sure you get all the air out of the system when refilling, jacking up the front end will help.........

Well after doing some reading I remembered that after riding a few hours and everything getting extremely hot I turned the motor off left the key on for the fan to run. While I was checking it out I noticed liquid leaking down coming from the overflow line.. Does this mean I have a blown head gasket?

Absolutely agree, and it only needs to be up a couple of inches. Remove bleed bolt and fill until it flows out. Tighten overflow, lower and fill the remaining.

I assume you are talking about coolant leaking into your overflow bottle? Which is normal when your coolant reaches the maximum allowed pressure of your radiator cap. Oem pressure caps are rated at 15psi and some increase these caps to 30psi in order to increase the coolant systems heat capacity. This is where waterless coolants succeed the traditional. Their capacity is +374°F or more, so they do not boil at normal operating temperatures, no pressure either, so you don't even need a pressure cap. With little to no pressure, this means longer lasting seals and hoses. No corrosion and no need for larger or ducted radiators.

Man I am just overthinking all of this and researching to much. I drained and added coolant with the front end lifted. I'm not sure I bleed the air out right. Which two bolts do you bleed it from?

The bolt shorter bolt on the water pump on the passenger side beside the gas tank? And the other bolt is one of the three on the thermometer housing on the drivers side right? There is one the is angled up with a copper washer?
This correct?

Also where is the overflow bottle located? I had leaking when it was over heated from the overflow tube?

And I guess you are suggesting that changing to a waterless coolant should solve my overheating problem?

Hummm, time to pause. There are other problems i can tell. Really the coolant was brown? That issue may of jacked up other things, just cause you changed the fluid dosent fix it. In order for fluid to look like you described means the rhino was neglected big time. What does the oil look like?

You need to fully maint this rhino out, thats where i would start.

Okay maybe brown was a bit of an exaggeration sorry. It really just looked like it was neglected and water was being added not drained and coolant replaced like it should have been. I got the Rhino a few weeks ago and it was my fault not to check it right away (still learning). But when I changed the oil it looked okay just dark like it needed to be changed.

I'll back up..The reason I noticed the coolant was I went riding a couple days ago and go stuck in a pretty nice muddy hole. Once I finally was pulled out and everything good we kept riding. After riding a few more hours I kept feeling my middle console get extremely hot along with my snorkel plate behind the middle console. You almost couldn't leave you arm rested on it. So we stopped for a while and I noticed my fan wasn't kicking on at all finally got that working. Went to pull my buddy out of a hole and my rhino kept jumping I was holding constant throttle but it was like I was pumping it. That would happen off and on till I got going. Then we headed back to the trucks it did fine riding at a constant speed. When I got back home the next day cleaned everything up and drained and filled the radiator with new coolant and bled the system. But it still seems to be running hot the fam will kick on after a few minutes of idling or riding (but it is 95 degrees here in Louisiana right now). That's where my oil cooler question came from because the lines felt extremely hot, also my water pump lines feel hot but the radiator wasn't too hot.
But before work today (I went in for nights) I did find a nice crack in my exhaust where it meets the muffler to add to the list.

On my 2009 Rhino 700 I changed the stator ,I disconnected to two oil lines for ease does it matter where which oil line goes where
