We all try to get that last ounce of power why not just add boondockers nitrous kit and be done with it?

I built a guy a 686 one time. Big port, big valves, big cam ect. It wasn't fast enough for him. We did a nitrous express 15hp shot. Worked pretty darn good. Never had a problem in about 30 dune trips until his daughter left the armed switch on which left the fuel pump running. It burned out the pump. That was the only issue he ever had. Nitrous express is a wet system, injects fuel at the same time. Very nice system.

I have been looking at these, pretty neat technology, uses the nitrous pressure to pull fuel from aux tank, mix and ratio correctly.. check out there vids

Boss Noss - Nitrous Systems - Boss Noss

Only down fall to a nicely setup nitrous system is that you are usually out of product when you want it the most. A turbo does not have to be refilled... Nitrous is cheaper $800 vs $2-3k if you build your own turbo setup..

Nitrous is usually $10 a lb so keep that in mind as well...

Nitrous is pretty fun I had a 700hp shot on my diesel.... wild ride on the road...

Wow that killed the thread... figured someone would call me out on a 700 hp shot... Just figured I would confirm this so you didnt think I was full of it... Truck was around 650ish hp without the juice. I am just saying nitrous makes alot of power but there are many things you have to do to make it safe power...
