I've done a search and couldn't find anything recent or updated regarding the NGK Iridium plug for the 660.

The part number is DPR8EIX-9. It also bears the number 2202 at Kragens and on some websites. I've picked one up today at Kragens for $7.50. It seems to be a stock item for them.

I'll let you know if I can tell a difference from the stock DPR8EA-9.

For the 700 guys, sorry, I didn't find if they make one for you...

If anyone has tried the new E3 plugs and like them please let me know.

we have already been using the iridium for a long time, way better plug than the stock one.

I use one for the 450 though :fing02:

Just installed it. Easier starting, a lot snappier. Haven't driven it yet (paddles). Will get to this weekend (Pismo).

Ya right numbers. I've only started it and hit the gas a few times so far (no driving yet) but I can already tell a difference. (starts easier and real snappy) For $7.50 I'd say already it's worth it. I'll be duneing this weekend and will have a better report Tuesday.

Iridium spark is hotter at less voltage than a standard plug, so it burns fuel more completely and effieciently. Which = more horsepower/fuel economy

Been running mine over a year.

Things I noticed -

No cold cycle, meaning how when it is cold (with choke), it would idle low, and when it got warm, you could hear the idle increase 5 minutes later, once it was ready to go. Now, it just idles, and you can leave the choke on forever. Maybe not a good thing, but it is quicker to go in the cold mornings. it seems like the plug makes the long choke warm up issue much better.

Better idle - cold or warm or hot, it maintains a strong idle.

Im not sure if it really helped performance, it sure didn't hurt it in any way. It is definitely a better plug for the reasons listed above.
