Hello all,
I recently bought a 2006 450 Realtree HD Rhino. Pretty good condition overall, 2,000 miles and 670 hours - Is that low, average or high usage? I am not an engine person at all, but can do all normal parts replacements and maintenance and troubleshooting. May not always call things by the right name, lol.
Just have one issue, not sure which thread to post my question in, so will ask it here.
The previous owner had replaced the OEM fuel pump with an aftermarket electric fuel pump. While it starts great and runs fine, at idle speeds especially, there is gas that drips (fairly high rate) out of the overflow hose in the carburetor. Makes a mess in the garage and kills the grass if in the yard!
Not sure whether to go back to the original pump, buy a different, properly sized, electric pump or maybe add a regulator to the existing one or some other fix?
Need help to decide. Thanks.
