if you have this issue, and did not open any bleeders, remove the rubber cover off the master cylinder pedal side, and remove lil rubber boot covering end of master cyl, your master cylinder is probly stuck due to rust, spray wd-40 or any penetrating fluid, and start pressing it, it should pop back out and you can continue bleeding brakes, but if it dont move at all, your gunna need a master cyl, i just installed new pads and this just happend to me,

If you spray a petrolium product like penitrating fluid behind the dust boot of the master cylnder you risk the chance of wrecking the master. The rubber seals could swell causing no brakes or a verry hard pedel . The rubber in a brake system is not compatable with wd-40 . There is a silicone \teflon lubricant you can use. Most of the time you just pull the peddel up of the floor or when you pump up the brakes dont go all the way to the floor.
