Long story short, buddy ended up putting a drill bit through the plug on the bottom of the carb w the 3 holes...all the way to the throat. Carb is done for. He’s eyeing up Chinese ones on amazon. Anyone have any experience? Thought I saw an oem
One was only 275 on bikebandit which isn’t bad...

If you are going to spend 275, think about going to an aftermarket non-vacuum carb. A 42 HSR might be too big for the 450, I'll ask Camshaw if I can find my phone...

Ok.

This machine is stock and my buddy is 65 and not interested in performance so stock plug and play might be best. His son ordered a Chinese carb for $50 on amazon. I have my doubts - but I’ve been wrong before and ran some Chinese ones on the kids dirt bikes that were fine.
