I have a 2008 Rhino 450SE, which my wife took out with my sister in law one day. She noticed a "grinding" noise when you slowdown, or put on the brakes. I thought brake pad needed to be changed and didn't really worry about it. about a week later I come home and theres a trail of oil leaking from under it. I see that the oil if coming from the middle crank shaft so I think there is a seal or something that needed replacing. I unsuccessfully attempt to remove the housing but I noticed that the oring was in good condition so I put it back together but now the drive shaft is locked up. So, I'm assuming that the oil leak is maybe around the bolt that holds in the universal joint. has anyone had this problem? once i put oil back in it will the driveshaft free itself. I really need to get this fixed, any ideas on price to have this fixed?
