Hello, my dad purchased a 2007 Rhino 450 and have ran into an issue. We have put in new carb, sparkplug, fuel filter, and tried jumping the reverse rev limiter all to no avail. It will sit there and idle like a well oiled sewing machine, but unless you have the choke pulled out some, when you try to rev it up, it dies. It will let you rev it till your heart is content as long as there is some choke added. I have searched and searched and all I can find is about the Reverse Rev limiter, however when we tried jumping it out to ground there was no difference. I would really like to get this thing in good running condition so we can take it out and play for a while. Thank you so much in advance.

Make sure valves are adjusted and then look for the air leak.

Mine had similar problem when giving gas. I slipped a c-clamp above and below my new fuel filter and started rt up, as it wasn’t sealing. Also, Adjusted the carburetor with a dyno jet kit from Amazon and runs like new. I am not a mechanic so anyone could do it. Comes with instructions.
