I had some tires put on my 2006 Ranger. The right rear tire came off while I was driving down the road. The OEM lugs were 17 and the ones I had to buy were 14. Opinions my friends is this going to cause me more issues or should I put 14 all the way around? The shop was great and fixed everything I just don't want to have it happen again. Okay spend the money or not...

If the lug nuts seat properly on the wheel there should not be an issue with running two sizes, except that you will need two tools to remove them.
I agree with chalkminer idea. As long as the lug nuts seat well to the wheel than no problem at all.
