If you want a rear differential you are better off getting a different vehicle rather then trying to convert a rhino...

But if you are committed to doing it you would want to look on forums for UTVs that have differentials...there are a lot of them...

Ive seen people put a locking front diff in the rear before.
Are the gears straight cut so it can turn in reverse?

Always thought the rhino should come with a lockable rear diff for driving on hard surfaces.

I think he means a rear differential that can be un-locked...

The Rhino rear gear is spooled... like it should be... imo... :)

The front is a differential normally not engaged with selectable 4wd that is really one-wheel drive in the front...and selectable locker...in which case all four wheels are full time...

So if you put a front gear on the rear you would have the choice of no drive...2wd with differential...or locked rear differential...

IMO it would be unreliable...
