I installed a new water temp gauge...i have the ground and sender wire and constant 12 volts hooked up..i need a 12 volt switched....what is a good one behind the dash and what color wire?..thanks

I just put one of UTV Inc's kits on on mine today. The brown wire on the back of the headlight switch should give you your power....the blue wire will give you power to the light in he gauge.

dont need any kit.

use the "+" wire (pink) coming from your cigarette lighter, that's how mine is hooked up works great.

Why are you running a constant hot to your water temp gauge?

You need a switched ign hot and switched taillight hot.

Why are you running a constant hot to your water temp gauge?

You need a switched ign hot and switched taillight hot.

my gauge is wired the same way. has a constant hot, then an ignition wire also, along with ground and sender.
