i was at a service station the other day and a guy saw my enclosed rhino and and he mentioned that he run a pipe off the exhaust tubing not the exhaust pipe and run it into the cab and and it kept the cab very warm in the winter what kind of pipe do you think he may have used to keep it from melting on the pipe sounds like a good idea? any thoughts on this

The guy just wanted to buy a cheep rhino from a widow....yeh run a hose from your exhaust into the cab?...i'll swing by nexted week and talk to the wife..lol...just kidding...i know thats not what you/he said...just like my story better...never been fully inclosed but i bet its warm?....no way to control heat with what you said.....any kind of heater needs dampning and a high low off fan...anything ellse is just stssttstupid.....mine is a square box under driver seat that has a fan and a car heater core and the line from motor that goes to radiator goes through this heater first...and the output has two round ducts...one to driver feet the other to pass feet

So you can use just a standard car heater core and build your own cab heater? Never have seen this, sounds like a cheaper method.

my rhino came this way....i think i found it when i googled (boat heater) cuz thats what the guy said i got it from...and like 400 bucks he said....my fan was dead cuz the area under driver seat was a foot deep in old mud and killed the heater fan.....Its a alloy tin box about 6x6x8 long...has a turbo 4000 fan in it and a car heater core....one end for air intake for fan has a chrome cover over the round hole...the other end of box has two....3" round ports for round ducting like a rv heater...its mouted under drivers seat....one duct is like 6" long and goes straight out to 3" hole in plastic and have rv stye vent blows at driver feet....the other is ducted over drive shaft and over to pass feet and same hole in plastic with a 3" round rv duct that blows on pass feet...the heater core tubes come out the side facing motor...and are taped into line that passes from motor on the way to radiator...i have a coolent temp gauge and a switch on dash for heat...works great.....the heater core is like what 30 bucks?...the fan i replaced was 30...and make a alloy box and mine is riveted together...should be easy
