This might be a dumb question, and I did some searching but couldn't come up with anything.

Has anyone made a true 4 seater? As in lengthening the frame and adding some seats? Off the cuff it doesn't look that difficult. But I have made bold claims in the past!

Another member directed me to Beaverpro where they appear to sell a 4 seat kit/frame. It's pretty cool. Though significantly longer than I had in mind.

Still interested in seeing pictures of anyone else who may have done it themselves.

A few years ago there were pics all over the net of what was supposed to be a factory built 4-seater... supposedly coming out soon... apparently the pics were unauthorized and as far as I know were all removed...

The rhino looked great IMO... it was a Rhino version of what the rzr-4 is now...

It was not stretched all that much really...not like the Mule and Ranger... more like the rzr...

Too bad they never brought it out... I would have bought one at the time...

IMO putting seats in the bed of rhino is not a good idea... please don't send your hate mail to me over it... lol...

IF I were going to put seats in my bed I would put them in the front of the bed facing the rear...like the golf carts do...

Yamaha missed the boat IMO not bringing out that 4-seater...a true 4-seater... which is the ONLY way to go IMO....

Thank all the blood thirsty lawyers for that machine being destroyed, that picture made them hard like a kid watching a porn video for the first time! Might as well call Yamaha a Honda and go back to the three wheeler days… I've already said to much about that picture! I wish that picture was never leaked! Because that picture only created more drama!

I have seen that picture before too...

That Rhino looks good IMO...

That red one is closer to a Mule than a RZR...half way between a rzr and ranger...

The pics I am talking about was a blue one that wasn't stretched near that much and was more like half way between a Mule and a RZR...

It was blue...

Not sure which one RV is referring to...

Don't see why it would be a big deal... all they ever had to do was put wider a-arms on them and get rid of the reverse, reverse offset wheels...it would have been a great vehicle...

I like the Red one in the pic... I LOVED the blue one I am referring to and really wanted one...

Thanks for the link...

Yeah I know what you mean about IF ... I saw all the pictures and it looked like factory engineering but it was in a shop with other vehicles not a "factory" photo...

The red one looks good but it pretty long like a Ranger or Mule... it's easy to see how they did it...the other one was way more sporty...the front seats were still the front and the back seat was small bench perfect for two kids...or a dog...

If I was going to convert one myself I would get rid of the bed...put a small bench seat behind front seats as far forward as possible...build a custom cage for it...and use at a minimum +3 a-arms on the rear...

But that is not how the "blue one" was made...

I have to complete a couple other projects around my house before I start a new one.

What I am thinking is something like the Blue one. I want to keep the sporting flavor. Or at least the off-road capability but also haul 4 people.

So I am thinking cut the box part of the frame under the bed, where it attaches to the "passenger" compartment. Add 10" (I'm guessing). Modify the fuel tank (probably) and the rear of the passenger compartment so a rear seat occupant can put their feet under the driver front passenger. Then cut the bed back about 8" or so.

The result would be about a slightly longer machine that would accommodate a couple kids in the back and still have a bed and what not.

Odds are I'll never get around to doing this.. but I like to dream ;)
