New Rhino owner here, fired up, fixing up a 2005 model. Got mudded up yesterday. Looking for fender flares to keep mud out of the cab. Which ones are best and where to get them the least expensive? Also, any trick to keeping dust out of the cab on dusty roads? Any help or suggestions greatly appreciatted.
Yes it does, the fender flares are available from them also. I don't think I want the fender flares, I just want to keep the mud out of the cab. Getting stuck in mud and spinning the wheels is a whole lot like getting spray painted. Be aware that you have to have a special tool to remove the bolts to remove the doors. Someone said you could remove the doors with channel lock pliers.
No tips from me, I have only been out one time in my Rhino. It warmed up into the high 30s and we just had to go out. It was a lot of fun but we will wait for the temp to get to the 50s before trying it again. We did get stuck two times, got out OK the first time, the second time we had to use the winch. What I thought was land was ice over a water hole left by big trucks.
For dust in the cab....search the trail armor dust reducers.
The best looking, and functioning flares are the Maier's...along with their $60 molded splash guards.
I shopped around for quite awhile for fender flares. I ended up going with superatv.com. Picked up the carbon fiber color ones on sale for a 100 bucks. Install is straight forward enough. They look sweet and do a good job keeping the mucky out. Good luck and Happy trails.
Here is a pic of mine with the carbon fiber fender flares from Super ATV. they are on sale for 79.95 plus shipping. Today is the last day they are on sale.
i think you will really like them and for that price you cant lose. s que, your rhino looks alot like mine. Check out my pics in the before and after thread. Gotta rock the camo in alaska
I put on the Meir fender flares which helped alot but...adding mud flaps to the front almost totally eliminated mud from entering the cab. I got them off eBay. Good luck.
I added the Maier Fender flares and it helped alot, but not completley. After adding the Maier molded front splash guards, no more issues. The fit of the flares and splash guards are awesome!
Do a search for the Dust skirt from Stitchmasters. Works awesome! Dont waste your money on anything else. Ive had mine for 4 years now and love it.
Hey Sherman, can you tell me the width of those flares, mainly the rear ones. Are you running 11" wide rear tires? Yours looks to be the same set-up as mine. I'm getting pretty muddy with the stock Yami overfenders.
Thanks
