i may have a chance to get a Edelbrock 40 carb. it doesnt have a choke but it doesnt get very cold around here. is this a good carb or no?

ran one for years, very reliable it was....just too small for a 660....wish they would have offered it with removeable venturis or just in a bigger size....put on a hsr 45 you can use it more as its able to make for more power as its bigger...

aight is it better than a stock carb? i dont really need anything for massive power. just more reliable and better quality than stock with a bit more power. or is it really too small to bother with?

the oem carb is the most reliable, tune it correctly for your mods and leave it alone....i wouldn't do the eddy carb again,not worth the hassle, loved having a pumper carb,but not worth the new cable and oil lines associated with the install the power added...
