2009 450 yahama rhino rear axel nut is stuck. not sure if i'm turning it the right way. is it right or left hand thread ?:aargh4:

hate to seem stupid but i've never had one off. are they left or right hand threads

I'm sorry, lefty lucy, righty tighty. You will need a breaker bar, cause they are tight, and mine had loctite on the threads also.

Like he said normal threads, I took one off last night and attempted to use a breaker bar but with the UTV on jackstands the brake wasn't strong enough to hold the axle from spinning. I ended up using an impact gun. Came off very easy with the impact. Also make sure you are straightening out the crush part of the nut where it was hammered down to prevent movement.

yes normal threds....i had same problem...large ratchett...no go...long breaker bar...no go...pipe on bar...no go...impact gun...no go...got it hot with torch...impact gun zipped it right off....a small propane torch dont work..it dont get it hot enuff
