Has anyone changed over from a 660 air intake to a newer '08 type intake? I see tons of ideas and then see as much failed ideas. Most great ideas seem to have troubles also. I have an '08 filter box for under the hood. Any possibility of using '08 intake parts with adaptation and little modification? Thanks for any help...tired of the noise and the dust drawn in. I've seen most posts on here about this topic and conclusion 's are not working.

the longer the intake tube, it messes with the vacuum of the CV carb.

I have heard some people being successful but many have not.

I know if I tried, I'd be in the many category. Just need something proven.

There was a thread on the site where a member modded his bed and installed his filter behind the seat on his RYR.
