Here is my snorkel i made for my 700 it is made from 3 inch exhaust pipe. i removed the airbox completely. works perfectly, but it is loud. parts list (3 3" 90 deg bends 4' of 3" straight pipe 2 - 3" silicone hoses and clamps. 1 roll bar mount and filter.

This would be a problem if youre throwing mud and water or riding in the rain though right?

yea it is cute but i ran out of toilet flanges and tie straps so that is the best i could do!

 

I used some huge zipties when I did mine. I will post pics this weekend.

The Clamp Is From Rock Hard Performance. 1 3/4

The Air Filter Is One I Found On Ebay For A 3 Inch Pipe.
I Made Transmission Snorkels From The Mandrel Bent Tubing As Well.

I like the idea, and I was going to do mine like this. I was just worried about sucking in water and mud with the filter out in the open like that. Have yall had any problems with that, or is it fine?

I Hit Water And Mud At About 30 And It Never Got Water In It

 

I guess its fine then. I'll have to do that one before our next big mud trip

 

I went a different approach and used the stock filter and airbox and make an extension that comes out of the box and sealed it with window weld. I will get some pics and try to post them.
