I’ve been working on tunning the carb on my 660. I installed a o2 bung right past the header collector to single exhaust pipe. At wide open I’m showing 12.2-12.3 with a 165 main jet. Might go down to 162.5 if I can find one at my local Yamaha dealer. Driving around I’m seeing mid 12. But at idle I’m seeing 10.3 with the A/F screw out 1 turn. Pilot jet is a 40. Is there anything else I should adjust to lean out my idle? I’m stumped at this point.

Thanks
Chris

I will give that a try. Could I have that needle jet setting to high? I currently have the thick plastic washer under the clip with the gold washers on top.

Thanks

I would say no, but as long as it runs well at idle I would not worry what the number says, I normally tune idle around 11 anyway, runs better when cold
