Ive done research but couldnt find anything. If I wanted to do a 5mm over I know I have to resleeve the bore but do I need to have the case machined also or will it still fit?

I ask because ive been thinking about building my motor and I just broke my ankle so im out of work for a while so this would be a good time to do it.

Thanks in advanced for any help.

yep the bigger 105 bore cylnder requires opening up the top ID of the case halves...I cut mine on my mill, swung the head over a few degrees and cut it open, now they don't touch the cylnder, they are loose on the od of the sleeve like the factory sets them up loose also...the hard part was making the stand/jig to mount the cases to the mill table....cameron..

now stroking is a different thing, I got a 8mm into my 660 stock cases with no modification...that cleared fine...

That's what I figured, I built a 762cc grizzly but I got it with all the work already done and bottom end all together so I wasn't sure. How does the 8mm work out for u?

Is there anybody on here that does the work? Also is that hotrods cam with carillo rod still for sale on here. Thanks for the info

Alright. Any advice on setting up for low end torque. I ride mostly trails and mud. I just put a 3in lift and im getting some 29.5s or 31s. So I want to build a low end monster. Ive got a mudbuster cam waiting to be installed along with an orange spring, black rhino cdi and its jetted because of the snorkles. Its an 04 so I would like to pull the motor apart to do the billet middle drive brace and check all the bearings and crank.

if u pull it apart weld the middle drive bosses to the bottom of the case, its not the plate that the middle gear mounts too that fails first, but the boss that stands up soo far off the case that the plate mounts to that fails or snaps off...my two cents..weld its 4 bolts to its locating steel plates once torqued...
