Pros and Cons argument. I am looking at buying an '09 700 rhino from a friend for what I think is a good price: $6800. I am looking for potential issues with my plan:

Heres the info:

Its an 09 700 with ~2years left on extended warranty, street legal, fourseat cage and back seat, steeet legal here in michigan, 14" D.O.T. mudtires (cant remember brand) on decent aluminum rims. has an extra set of stock tires I believe. The motor and everything is ALL stock...goes about 40mph.

I have the 06 660 with quite a few bolts on : JBS sheave, yoshimura exhaust, Rais Intake, Uni filter, new winch, full windshield, roof, CDI, special edition plastics, overfenders, 2" lift kit, 27" XTRS on 14" rims, stereo, runs 57mph on pavement.

What do you guys think I could get out of mine and should I buy this 700? both have about 2,500 miles/ 300hours

What should I do?!!?!?!?!?!? I am VERY tempted to sell my 660 ($6500?) and buy the 700. I'll jsut combine my favorite parts from each (plastics, tires, rims, etc,) and send the other one down the road.

Let me know, anything I should be aware of?

If you decide not to buy the 09, let me know. I am looking for one in Michigan. I would like to talk to your friend about street legal stuff too, for instance what insurance company, what police agency did inspection, what windshield, and what type of vehicle did Sec of State title as?

I'm not sure that your getting a lot more.

sure the fuel injection of the 700 is nice, but a tuned 660 works very well.
the 700 is more quiet because of the intake, but power wise, they are very close (stock)
the 700 has the ability to run more accessories because of the larger stator.

700 has a stronger middle gear support, larger CV's, better crank

I would go with the 700, I have a 660 and just bought a 700 and i enjoy it alot more than my 660
Just out of curiosity, what makes the 700 so much more fun?

Less noise in the cab, starts easier when cold out, brakes are not noisy, has a factory fuel gauge, reverse gear is lower. These are a feel things that make a big difference for me

The 700 has:
1. fuel injection
2.smoother better balance engine
3.4 wheel disc brakes
4. a parking brake that works.
5.intake under the hood away from the cockpit
6. bigger stronger cv joints
7. fuel gauge

In addition to all of this, the 700 engine responds to mods with bigger better payoff. My buddys 700 has never pulled the head or split the cases and he runs dead even with my bored and stroked ported, 660/720

I like the fuel injection better myself, I can plug in a laptop and mess with the mapping all day long, anywhere I want, without having to take anything apart.

Two batteries, charger, and a generator in the trailer, all I have to worry about is running out of gas! HAHAHA!!!
