I had settled on buying a 07 Rhino then I came upon an 08 Teryx that the owners need to sell for financial reasons, which one do you experts think I should look at (yes I know this is a Rhino site so the votes may be tainted)

07 Rhino, red looks good, has sport wheels and new tires and two spare tires with stock wheels, soft top, approx 1K miles

08 Teryx, camo looks good, new tires, new belt, just serviced, cabela seats, hard top, 268 hours (which I'm guessing translates into 2500 miles or so)

Both can be purchase for the same price.
What are the pros and cons of each?
Thanks

the 08 kawi is carb'd and has intake track leaking problems on the teryx, I would only buy the FI teryx, nothing but problems with the 08 teryxs and the engine cases are proned to splitting by the starter on the 08s, don't buy the 08 teryx, muzzy's wont even build a 08 motor in the teryx because of the engine flaws in the first year, buy the rhino or better yet buy an fi teryx. The kawi has better suspension and the motor has more potential being a vtwin....those are cold hard facts on the 08 teryx....seen tons of them with busted cases and worn out rings because of the leaking airbox and carb problems....

your right, this is a rhino site....
but that being said, I'd avoid the 08 Kawi, if it was an 09, it might be a consideration.

I am a honda fan first off, i had this issue when looking for a UTV for my wife, we considered all options, teryx, rzr-s, commander, and went for a hooked up rhino for 2 reasons
1. Price couldn't argue it
2. I did a lot of research for reliabilty and i didn't read magazine reviews, i search used machines for sale and the RHINO was the only one that had multiple machines for sale with 300+ hours...a lot of the terx's had motors replaced etc...
Yamaha's reliabilty is what pushed me to rhino but if honda made one besides Big Red it would last 700+ hours LOL...

my dad has a teryx 2010. my rhino beats him off the line, and he maybe has 2-3 more mph but takes him days to get there.

so the question is. are you going to leave it fairly stock? or build the motor?

I was just at dumont dunes and my stock rhino kicked butt, well I have sheave intake and exhaust but! I went everywhere and actually beat a teryx up banshee hill.
