Been raining every day here on the Space Coast (FL) but got a break this morning so me and the Mrs. snuck out for a couple of hours. We "snuck out" cause if the grandson knew about it he would have a hissy fit for not being invited along (he did come along the last time..). It ain't mountain trails but better than nothing at all..

Well, as usual, all good things must come to an end. For reasons, yet unknown, the County Mounties have decided to restrict (shut down) this expansive local riding area. Seems like too many of us take for granted the care & maintenance of these rapidly disappearing areas causing us to travel hundreds of miles to find an area to enjoy. Years ago we bought some acreage in TN that sits inside a pristine area of 1900 acres but that's a long way to travel only to hear scuttlebutt of people wanting to "civilize" the area. Crud..
