John, I want to see that 80 hp turbo rzr...the ones I raced seem to be missing something because they are at 6 to 8 lengths behind..lol

Who was it built by , i think turbo suck CC inch is where its at , How Holz car doing on the track ? Since Kroyer built my motor i have not had one failure and ever time it goes out we put at least 3 tanks through it ( no broken belts , motors , etc that all the other Fully mod UTV are sitting up on jack stands by there haulers . Thats why i spent the money on doing the motor right . Benchmark knows they installed the motor from kroyer when it came back from the Dyno . Kroyer's working on a stroked version of the Holz motor since the CC class is going to be opened . Turbo's failure rate is too high unless you spend about 10 grand just inside the motor before even installing it .

Don't they have a new crank that fixes the problem with the stock motor and allows you to build big HP? It's made by Dragonfire or for Dragonfire right?

Kroyer is a big push rod company building Nascar and trophy trucks motors , they have a joint venture with Holz racing on this design motor . They ran the hole last racing season on the same motor built by Kroyer without a failure . Being the RZR coming from a similar design as a small block chevy it was good to go to someone who has 40yr in push rod design , the biggest problem with this motor is getting the geometry correct with over head cam guys have know clue about this motors ,polaris designed this motor off of a chevy design , thats why they are braking cranks . I am also getting there new bullet stroked crank when released . I was the first consumer to get one of these motors so i paid more money to have it done by kroyer , shipped as a crate motor with dyno sheets . When i went to Chris at benchmark and told him i wanted a RZR he rolled his eyes and told me all the con's but they handle incredible so i wanted it . Then when i asked him to mod it for me he ran . Chris is the one who hooked me up with Kroyer and told me don't go anywhere else unless you want a broken mess , so i took his advise and spend the money . I also have Dan's from lonestar suspension with Elka's and everything else you would want to have on a car . The car has way more travel then my rhino and is 1 foot wider sitting on 72" over all . I just looking forward for the bigger motor do the line , they are saying 100 in the future , not bad for a car that only has a GW of 900 pounds . I still love my rhino just wanted a sport car so i gave it to my wife and kids .

So i tried the combo for the whole 3 days in the Dez with no broken belts , i have only ran one fan as a pull not a push into the cover and had three 200 pound dudes going as fast as it could go for 10 miles at around 60 with a little struggle from 50 to 60 also hit big hills with a lot of jump starts from the bottom we did tis all day . The combo i ran was a white spring and 10 weights per slot so does anyone have a better combo like running a softer spring ? Will that help the upper pull a little better ? Or should i run more weight ? I'm pulling about 7800 through out the range so the motor's not getting bogged down . I don't really need more on the top but would like to get there faster .

put high stall wet clutch kit in it. (for the launch) won't change top speed though.

and yes I was there for your RZR at BEnchmark, pretty Effin Cool ride.

I run stock spring and 10 weights. Originaly ran the cover on. I hit 57mph with a rejet carb and a sparks pipe. Held it at 57mph for about 5 miles. Belt (stock) shredded and caught fire. Talked to the guys at Weller and advised to run it without the cover and change the belt to the Epi severe duty. That was a year ago. No problems yet. I was advised though not to run the clutch through water.

i currently am running the stock spring with 11 weights and that combo seems to be fine.
as far as the belts go i now run the stock 700 belt and it has performed the best. i have run the epi arimid fiber belt and the old epi kevlar belt and broke them all. key is to definetly run with cover off.
i used to break belts every trip and i am on 4 trips with out an issue with the cover off.
thanks for the imput guys

u might be dialed in ...a stiffer spring will lose top speed if anything heavier weights might gain u 1-2 mph but lose the pull when climbing and a softer spring will do the same u will lose speed climbing...

u wanna keep the rpms up hi with out bogging or losing to much top speed ..

stiff spring is good for climbing big time and the lighter weights help it stay in a higher rpm to keep ur momentum going ...
