Guided Trail ride to benifit the Wounded Warriors

This is a guided ATV ride that benefits the Wounded Warrior Project. The ride will begin on Mill Creek Road,
Hillsgrove on a designated trail for approximately 40 miles. If your ATV cannot handle this many miles, you
should carry extra gasoline with you. You will travel in groups. Each group will be guided by a designated
HLSORC member. Once your group is underway, you will be required to stay with your group for the entire
ride. All operators must stay on the designated route and follow all signs. Any ATV operating off the trail and
not following the designated route will be subject to fines and/or removal from the event. All operators and
passengers must complete a registration form and a Release of Liability Form before registration is complete.
Event Rules:
All ATVs must have proof of PA state registration and insurance.
All riders are required to provide proof of birth.
Riders between the ages of 8 and 16 must show safety course certificate and be accompanied by an adult.
Riders of the ages 8 and 9 are restricted to an engine size of 70cc or less.
All riders are required to wear helmets and eye protection.
ATV state rules and regulations apply.
All machines will adhere to the maximum 99 decibel level as stated in State ATV Law.
Prior to registration all machines will be inspected. The event inspector will attach an identification tag on the
machine showing that it has successfully passed the event inspection.
All operators and passengers must complete a registration form and a Release of Liability Form before registration is
complete.
At registration all participants will be assigned to a group and given a start time. Every participant will be issued an
event wristband which must be worn during the event to show that registration is complete.
Riders must stay with the assigned group, no exceptions. Groups will travel the entire course together. Each group of
participants will have two experienced riders, one leading the group and another following the group. A safety
checklist will be briefed to each group before departure. A route sheet and rules will be provided to each participant
outlining the course by mileage and road signs.
All operators must stay on the designated route and follow all signs. Any ATV operating off the trail and not following
the designated route will be subject to fines and/or removal from the event.
The event speed limit is not to exceed 15 mph.
