when you fill out the mv-82, put 990lbs in the box for weight, it is the only way you can reg a rhino in ny

did they check your paperwork for they actual weight as posted by the manufacturer? i got a ticket on the snirt run for unregistered. now i need to find the certificate of manufacture to try to register it. there were several there that had similar vehicles. one guy was registered as a special commercial with a full size plate. said he had a survey business.

Yup,,,Troopers up north here will look the other way...but as it stands now the only place in NY to ride Rhinos/Rangers and the like are your own property...State is supposedly going to allow registration and then allow you to ride designated trails but hasn't passed yet....Sucks big time

If you registered it as an atv...what happens when you get stopped and checked..? It has no classification in NY now...it used to be considered an agricultural vehicle and we could ride with the orange triangle....but no more......
