Hi from Nam

Good day from Nam......Namibia in Africa

Got a Rhino 450 I think, where do I post the Vin Number to find out more like the model, year etc.

It was standing under a tree for quite a while, motor missing and a few panels, would like to see if I can maybe rebuild it as a project for my kid?

regards

Welcome to the site, the only VIN I've seen on Yamaha Rhinos here are echtched into the frame driver side below the rear diff. You said the engine is missing so if you could post more pictures of your find it might give us a little more insight as to what you have found.

FLOYD, SANDI & Sadie is the co-pilot. 05 660, 3000# VENOM WINCH, LED headlight Mod, 12' led light bar RZR seats, Resi shocks, SunF 26 X 9r X 12, CUSTOM PAINT(the rescue chopper can find us know)

I'm with Brian on this, the dash is a dead give away. Someone might recognize the dash, but what you might do is google each brand and look at the pics that will pop up. Good luck Leipsie

Txs Rhino Rat, did google search but pics is scarce on interior specific. Will keep trying, I have meanwhile tried CF Moto to get a quote on a 600cc from them, even if I have to make mods, I just need it to run man it is such a cool toy!

Thank for the pictures...

Am sure that is a Ruesch. They are a solid platform to work with just like Rhinos are....believe they had 500&1000 cc versions.

A main difference from the Rhino is the running gear. I Rotaxed my Rhino back in 2009, and a couple 2-3 years later, a member ran into a Ruesch to Rotax and had to set engine/tranny in forwards, instead of backwards, like we all had to in Rhino platforms.

Does it have the long travel on it?

LBR you biscuit, entered search for Ruesch and voila, it is the 500cc XLR platform I have. Great txs bud now I can search in all earnest for skins etc.

It has standard travel.

What do you think of the CF Moto engine?
RHINO RAT likes this.

Seems like the Ruesch had a wider front stance than the rear, thus my LT question...glad you're locked on to the proper platform for needed parts.

I'm not familiar with CF Moto engines, but someone else may chime in....Rotax powers all of my UTVs.
