Cranking issue

I have an 06 rhino 660. I was riding my hunting lease and suddenly it started to skip and sputter and lose power. It was 100 degrees so i thought maybe it was vapor locking so I removed gas cap and put a rag in the tank opening. Rhino went back to running normal. Stopped and walked the property for about 30 min, came back and rhino wouldn’t start. I thought maybe the fuel pump was bad. Ordered oem replacement pump and new filter, installed them and still nothing. The pump seems to be pulling vacuum but I see no fuel in the filter. Can anybody tell me what’s going on? I’m in the middle of nowhere trying to fix this thing and get it ready for the season.
