Engine cooling fan air duct assembly

Hey,
New to site and I'm sure this questions has been asked but when I searched site didn't really see a answer to this question.

I've new to me 2007 660 S/E and will be riding in water and Mud and seen where someone stated the Engine cooling fan air duct assembly and Cooling fan wasn't really needed and would drag the motor down in water and mud and to remove the fan to stop this problem.

1) Does it really serve a function or just to cool off exhaust
2) Will it hurt motor etc. without this
3) Will exhaust heat cause damage to other parts of
Rhino

Thnx

If you are talking about the exhaust cooling ductwork on the passenger side, YES, remove it all the way down to the little square the fan mounts to.
It is not needed and a HUGE drag while under water.

need to buy cooling fan duct.

I am in need of all the air ducts for a 2005 660. Would you be willing to sell the cooling fan side if you remove it?

Call or text 714 883 8595

Thx
