I have a really hard time Turing it either way, even in neutral. If I put some muscle into it I can get it to turn clock wise but you can hear it moving the piston.

Should be able to turn it counter-clockwise by hand. Did you go into the wet clutch housing at all, if yes you may have the one-way bearing in wrong, when you slide it on you should see a green dot or the word "outside" facing you. I wouldn't run the engine anymore till you check it, if bearing is in backwards you could damage the race it rides on, that could be the bang I'm hearing.

Some of the sprags could be installed into the one way carrier backwards. This has indeed happened to others. If the one-way if dropped onto the floor, the sprags come out and scatter all over the place. If one was to push the sprags back in randomly, you end up with a sprag clutch that partially locks up in both directions. The picture above shows the markings on the sprags which should all be oriented in the same direction as in the picture.

The problem with the "green dot visible" is that the wording can be easily misunderstood. Some people think that the sprag clutch is to be installed INTO the drum. If you do it this way then you cannot see the green dot after putting the one way in place.

The way to install the one-way "properly" (such that the words make sense) is to put the one-way ONTO the hub of the clutch carrier. While the one-way is on the clutch carrier, and the clutch drum is off, then the one-way is installed correctly and the green dot is indeed visible.

While taking the machine apart the one-way might stay in the clutch drum as you pull it off and the green dot will not be visible.

Rhino won’t move

Hi guys so a couple months ago I replaced my wet clutch and dry clutch the belt and one way bearing. I have put about100 miles on it since and no problems but yesterday I was out at the sand dunes climbing a hill and hit just stopped would not move. When I got it home took the cover off and nothing moves.any ideas?

I'd start by taking the primary sheave apart, but 1st you did jack up the back end to get rear wheels off the ground to run it thru the gears and nothing moves? You may have smoked the wet clutch. Are you saying that the wheels while in neutral are locked up also?? Maybe the stake nut on the wet clutch backed off.

No tirés move just fine. The pulleys do not move at all even when in gear it will just rev up.

I'd pull the wet clutch housing, if you careful you can reuse the housing gasket.
