Mikuni BSR42/1 brass plug

So I recently bought a brand new Caltric arburetor that does indeed fit my '04 660, and runs reasonable, but I decided to try and revive the Mikuni BSR42/1 carb that came stock on my machine. I decided to remove the brass plug on the bottom to get to the A/F screw. I had a heck of a time getting it out, and destroyed the plug, and found out there is no screw under there on this model. I have searched on the web and have not found a replacement plug. I have not called anyone associated with the maker yet though. I have two questions: 1) Do they make replacement plugs, and 2) have I destroyed this carb? My gut feeling is this things toast. I guess it pays to know more about carburetors than I do.

I did the exact same thing. I am not seeing that listed in the parts breakdown. I’m not sure what to do next either
